Spectrum of action

Sinchi 25 SC combines Indoxacarb and Chlorfluazuron that provides a powerful one-two punch against wide range of insect pests, especially caterpillars (Lepidopteran larvae).

Indoxacarb works as a sodium channel blocker. When an insect ingests or comes into contact with Indoxacarb, it interferes with the normal functioning of these sodium channels. This leads to a disruption in nerve impulse transmission, causing paralysis and eventually death. In the same time Indoxacarb has contact and stomach mode of actions meaning it can kill insects that touch it or ingest it.

Chlorfluazuron acts as Insect Growth Regulator (IGR). Chlorfluazuron inhibits chitin synthesis, meaning that the insects cannot produce its much-needed chitin. Chitin is a component of the insect's exoskeleton.  This is particularly effective against larval stages (caterpillars) because they need to molt (shed their skin) to grow. Chlorfluazuron prevents them from forming a new exoskeleton properly, leading to death during molting.

Instructions for use

Always mix Sinchi 25 SC in clean sprayer/container. Fill the tank up to its half volume with clean water, add the needed quantity of the product with agitation, than full fill the tank and mix thoroughly. After the application rinse the equipment three times with water.
