Pesway 60 SC

Spectrum of action

The active substance in Pesway 60 SC is absorbed by contact irritating the insects within the next 5 minutes. Acetamiprid acts as nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonist of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) in the insect's central nervous system. Meaning that it binds to these receptors, mimicking the action of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Disruption of the insect’s nerve impulses is cause by Acetamiprid ability to binding to the nAChRs, disrupting the normal transmission of nerve impulses. This overstimulation of the nervous system leads to various effects, including tremors, paralysis and eventually, death of the insect.

When the insect tries to remove Acetamiprid’s particles, it comes in contact with even more substance, speeding up the absorption process. It can cause the shock effect in less than 30 minutes, after which the death of the insects occurs within 24 hours.

Instructions for use

Always mix Pesway 60 SC in clean sprayer/container. Fill the tank up to its half volume with clean water, add the needed quantity of the product with agitation, than full fill the tank and mix thoroughly. After the application rinse the equipment three times with water.

The insecticide ensures uniform coverage of the treated surfaces and good adhesion, even on very porous surfaces. Long-lasting residual activity of the product is ensured for up to 3 months.

Pesway 60 SC is insecticide that can be used alternatively with other insecticides to control resistance problems.
