Spectrum of action

Edegal 15 WG is a combination of Emamectin benzoate and Matrine that brings together two different approaches to insect control.

Emamectin benzoate acts as nerve and muscle disruptor. Working by interfering with the nervous system and muscle function of insects.  It specifically targets glutamate-gated chloride channels in the insect's nerve and muscle cells. The disruption of glutamate-gated chloride channels leads to paralysis and eventually death. This mode of action is particularly effective against caterpillars (Lepidopteran larvae) and some other pests.  

While Matrine multiple potential modes of action. It is affecting the insects nervous system, by interfering with neurotransmission or other neural processes.  

Instructions for use

Always mix Edegal 15 WG in clean sprayer/container. Fill the tank up to its half volume with clean water, add the needed quantity of the product with agitation, than full fill the tank and mix thoroughly. After the application rinse the equipment three times with water.
